Powder coat caulk/floater

Job:  Powder Coat caulk/floater

Classification:  Non-exempt

Schedule:  10-hour shift, Monday – Thursday.  Overtime as assigned.


 Job summary:  This position will caulk utility bodies, load, and unload bodies/parts for the powder coat process.  


Responsibilities:   You will caulk utility bodies to prepare the body to be painted.  As a floater, you will work where needed.  You will be responsible to load and unload all parts/bodies to keep the production line moving.    Maintain a clean and organized workspace and performs all other duties as assigned.


Skills:  Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive tasks, and manual dexterity.   Vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception. Reaching above and below shoulder level.  Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, high level of dust and noise.  Performs other duties as assigned.


Physical requirements:   Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect product. Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. periodically.
